Description

When a group of schoolboys are stranded on a remote island after a plane crash, they initially see their situation as an exciting adventure. With no adults around, they are free to create their own rules and decide how they will survive.

Ralph emerges as a natural leader and tries to establish order, using meetings, rules, and a signal fire as symbols of their hope for rescue. But Jack, who is more interested in hunting and power, begins to challenge Ralph’s authority. As fear spreads through the group, the boys’ attempts to maintain civilisation gradually give way to rivalry, violence, tribalism, and chaos. What starts as a story of survival becomes a much darker examination of what lies beneath the surface of human behaviour.
