In 1950s Mexico, Noemí Taboada, a glamorous and fiercely intelligent socialite, receives a distressing letter from her newlywed cousin, begging to be rescued from her new husband’s eerie family estate. Determined to help, Noemí travels to High Place, a remote mansion in the misty mountains, where secrets fester in the walls.

What she finds is a crumbling, fungus-infested house with a strict and sinister family hiding terrible truths. Noemí soon begins experiencing disturbing visions and eerie dreams. As the house’s dark past begins to infect her reality, she must use her wits—and her will—to fight back against forces both human and supernatural.
