Description

Emily Wilde is a Cambridge professor and leading scholar in “dryadology,” the study of faeries. She’s brilliant and thorough, but socially awkward—she’d rather be with her books, her dog (named Shadow), and the Fair Folk than with people.

Her current project is writing the world’s first encyclopaedia of faerie lore. As part of her research, she travels to a remote Nordic island village called Hrafnsvik / Ljosland in the far north.
