Description

Alice has recently left Dublin and moved to a small coastal town, where she meets Felix, a warehouse worker who is very different from the people she has known before. Meanwhile, her best friend Eileen remains in Dublin, navigating work, relationships, and her growing feelings for childhood friend Simon.

Although Alice and Eileen are physically apart, they remain closely connected through a series of long, honest emails. They talk about everything from love and friendship to sex, politics, religion, art, money, and the state of the modern world. As their relationships develop, the four characters begin to confront questions that are difficult to answer: What makes a life worthwhile? Can love provide stability in an unstable world? How do we remain hopeful when the future feels uncertain?
