Description

Goddess of the River is a powerful retelling of the Mahabharata, told through the eyes of Ganga, the river goddess, and her son Devavrata, later known as Bhishma.

Ganga, cursed to live as a mortal, must give up her children one by one. Her last son, Devavrata, survives and becomes a great warrior—but his vow to never marry changes the fate of an entire kingdom.

This is a story about love, sacrifice, duty, and loss, blending mythology with emotion in a deeply human way.
